Lobero Theatre

Encore is the fitting name for the Lobero Theatre Foundation’s $7 million restoration of California’s longest continually running theater. Built in 1873 as an opera house, part of the theater’s rebirth includes a comprehensive Master Plan for Donor Recognition. GNU responded to KBZ Architects designs with historically sensitive aesthetics and the flexibility to be updated as the theater continues to pay homage to all benefactors – past, present and future. GNU also assisted in the development of an enhanced formal arrival experience.
