GNU Group is partnering with Gladstone Institutes to develop a comprehensive signage and wayfinding program for its second facility in San Francisco. The new building will bring together scientists working at the forefront of AI-enabled biomedical research and cancer immunotherapy, creating an environment designed to foster collaboration, discovery, and the translation of groundbreaking science into meaningful advances against disease.
Our work will focus on creating a clear, intuitive system that supports the people behind that science every day. Drawing on GNU Group’s experience in complex research and workplace environments, the signage program will help simplify navigation, support safe and efficient movement, and create a strong sense of arrival and belonging.
Derick is a Senior Designer and Marketing Manager at the GNU Group. With a background in environmental graphic design and a keen eye for detail, he leads design initiatives while also shaping the firm’s marketing voice across all platforms.
