City of Martinez

The City of Martinez partnered with GNU Group to refresh its boundary monuments and introduce a bold new visual language for city banners. These updates are all about bringing new energy to the community, highlighting key destinations, and creating a stronger sense of pride and connection for both residents and visitors alike.

A large part of the project also focuses on making it easier to explore downtown, with a new wayfinding program that clearly identifies public parking. These improvements are designed to support local businesses, help people find their way, and make every visit to Martinez more enjoyable, all while staying true to the city’s familiar identity and laying the groundwork for future growth.
