Yucca Valley Aquatics & Recreation Center

As Yucca Valley prepared to unveil its long-anticipated Aquatics and Recreation Center (YV ARC), GNU Group partnered with the Town to create a name and brand that would define the community’s new gathering place. In collaboration with Dahlin Architecture and HMC Architects, GNU crafted a visual identity seamlessly carried through signage and landmark features, giving the center a bold and enduring presence.

The inclusive naming process engaged the Town Council and community through surveys and workshops, leading to the name “ARC.” Resonating for its simplicity and spirit, “Meet me at the ARC” quickly became a rallying cry that captured the excitement of this new civic destination and ensured it stands as a symbol of pride and connection for Yucca Valley.
