PG&E Workers’ Memorial

The PG&E Workers’ Memorial is a lasting tribute honoring the men and women of PG&E who have lost their lives in the line of duty. GNU Group was entrusted with the full design/build turnkey implementation of this impactful and meaningful display.

The concept for the memorial began with an original sketch provided by RIM Architects. From there, GNU Group led the design development process, providing 3D modeling, documentation, and seamless project execution. We worked closely with custom fabrication partner WeidnerCA, Seegert Construction and Landscape Architect Gates + Associates to bring the final vision to life.

The material palette, inspired by the tools and infrastructure of power line construction, reflects the strength, dedication, and sacrifice of PG&E’s workforce. The completed memorial serves as a place for reflection, remembrance, and gratitude for the entire PG&E community.
